Dog Town Forge

Dog Town forge was born out of a need to be creative and a fascination for making and crafting

I specialise in handmade hand forged outdoor knives, but enjoy making knives of all types and other handcrafted items. When designing each product I am able to utilise my 40 years experience of taking part in outdoor activities and traditional living skills within civilian and military settings. 

My aim is to encapsulate my passion for creativity in the products made in the forge or workshop. Every project is a labour of love, beginning with the design, the selection of the materials and through the build process to the finished item.

I produce items that are functional, but each will have some artistic flare. I only use hand tools to complete each project and mainly specialise in one off handcrafted custom products.

Where possible I prefer to work closely with the user to understand their needs, preferences and intended use for each product. This means that it is possible to create something that is practical but reflects the personality and style of the end user.
